2011 was a year of growth and challenges at the OLC. We wrote & were awarded nearly $20,000 in grants and raised another $7,000 via donations and events like a Walk-A-Thon, Spooky Stories programs and restaurant fundraisers.
Half of the grant money built the new garden and we are VERY excited for the first full growing season to arrive so we can get growing. If you are also thinking of spring planting please check out the awesome assortment of seed and products at Renee's Garden-

Slideshows Group Announcements  Volunteers needed programsIf you like working with children or just getting outside- the Avon OLC can use your help! Everything from leading a station during a program like Pioneer Day or Earth's Changing Surface to killing invasive plants we could use your help!! Help for a few hours, a day a week, a day a month, or a day a year! We have projects if you have time!!!
